what is your favorite summer fruit?


summer fruit is here!!! we are taking a poll to determine the napa farmhouse 1885 favorite organic fruit to be used in a signature recipe. please vote for your favorite. the poll is listed along the right hand side of the blog..about 1/2 way down.... vote away..but hurry..the poll closes the 5th of july..we want to have our answer by july 4th... thanks...   1. I'd say my favourite summer fruit is Strawberries. Just the right sweetness and can eat as many as i can, whereas for the others, i'd go more out of my way to have them.

    You probably know Rambutant as the Lychee fruit popular in south american and asian cuisine.

  5. Oh, I voted -- for blueberry -- but I adore cherries! And strawberries! And peaches so ripe that the juice just runs off my chin! Hard to pick one. Let's pick them all and have a fruit salad.

  7. Hi Diane! I voted for strawberries but, they are my second favorite. My absolute favorite is watermelon. But that's ok. Love the dog hanging out the window checking things out!

  9. I love blackberries the best i think. They are delicious jsut off the bushes. I really really like them baked in a yummy cobbler. Or on top some angel food cake. Or cut up with a banana and rasberries.
